"Solidarity with the younger generations is essential".

When I look at the School today, the first word that comes to mind is "pride".

I am proud of its development and of the merger with Centrale Paris, which makes it the largest engineering school in France and, soon I am sure, one of the largest academic institutions in the world.

Building the global brand that will allow CentraleSupélec to achieve this ambition also depends on us, its Alumni, and this is one of the reasons why I am a donor, even if my primary motivation is to give back to this School that has given me so much.

"My primary motivation is to give back to the school that has given me so much."

I am particularly involved in the field of entrepreneurship.

Because it’s my job, it’s in my genes, and entrepreneurship is now a major dimension of the CentraleSupélec engineering curriculum. The Foundation does a lot for students and graduates who create startups, and I want to support it in this mission.

With one of our comrades, a Centrale Paris graduate, we are in the process of creating a "CentraleSupélec Ventures" fund that will allow alumni to invest in the most promising startups.

It is a great adventure that gives the feeling of building something important, with the Alumni, for the younger ones and also a lot for the School. Because Jules Verne said it so well: “The hardest thing is not to arrive, it is to leave.

"Solidarity with the younger generation is therefore essential."
