UK Friends of CentraleSupelec
Created for our Alumni living in the United Kingdom, the UK Friends of CentraleSupelec fundraising structure allows you to support the Foundation while benefiting from the tax advantages provided by your country of residence.
How can I benefit from the UK's tax allowances ?
The UK Friends of CentraleSupelec is eligible for the Gift Aid system: any donation is matched by 25% from the UK government. For example, when you make a donation of £1000, the CentraleSupélec Foundation receives £1250.
If you are a High Tax payer, you can benefit from additional tax relief corresponding to the difference between your tax rate (45%) and 20%.
In practical terms, when you make a donation of £1,000, for example, the Foundation receives £1,250 thanks to Gift Aid, and you can deduct a further £312 from your tax bill (£1,250 x 25%).
